What is LiveBusiness.ca?
LiveBusiness.ca is a Canadian business directory, online since 2003. It lists local businesses in every province and territory, organized by city and industry.
How do I find a local business near me?
Search by service and city, or browse by province, city or industry. Premium and Featured businesses appear first.
Is the directory free to use?
Yes. Searching and contacting businesses is always free.
Listing your business
How do I add my business to the directory?
Create a free account, add your business and choose a plan. Basic listings are free; paid plans add photos, a map, higher ranking and visitor statistics.
My business is already listed. Can I update it?
Yes. Find your listing and claim it to edit the details, add photos or upgrade to a paid plan.
Why do I need to confirm my Basic listing?
Basic listings are confirmed with one click in an email every 90 days. This keeps closed businesses out of the directory.
Can I list my business in more than one city?
Yes, on paid plans: two cities on Featured and four on Premium.
Plans and payments
How do I pay?
Plans are prepaid through PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account or with a credit or debit card on the PayPal page.
Will my plan renew automatically?
No. Every plan is prepaid for 1, 2 or 3 years and never renews on its own. We email you before it ends.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Save 15% when you pay for 2 years and 25% when you pay for 3 years.
How does the free Featured trial work?
After you register and add your business, it gets Featured placement for 7 days, plus 7 more when your profile is complete. No card is needed.
What is a Top boost?
For $9 your listing stays at the top of its city and category for 7 days, on top of any plan.
